- Designed for use on all Velvac preset loops except those with tension control stop preset as found in kit Part No. 748371
- Improves pivot holding force on mirrors with large loops or large/heavy mirror head combinations
- Unique spring/washer combination retains pivot system torque to keep mirror in set viewing position until moved and provides superior detent action for foldaway applications
- Life cycle tested to over 50,000 pivot cycles
- Preset rivet plate fits over existing preset rivets to extend life of loop and improve cycle performance
- Easy retrofit - can be completed without taking mirror assembly off the vehicle
- 5/16" -18 x 1-3/4" stainless steel pivot bolt and 5/16" - 18 x 2" stainless steel preset bolt
- Kit contains all upper and lower pivot hardware for one mirror assembly
- Kit can be used to upgrade mirror loops with standard rubber or spring preset systems (similar to part number 748009 or 712979). Order one part number 748355 per side.
